Captain: Gabriela Pitten

Hey everyone! My name is Gabriela Pitten and I am honored to be your captain this year. I grew up in the south of Brazil in a city called Porto Alegre and I went to an international school there where I was first introduced to Model UN. This will be my seventh year doing MUN and my second year serving on the PMUNT captain team. At Princeton I’m a junior majoring  in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, with certificates in French Language and Culture and in the History and Practice of Diplomacy. Whenever I can pry myself away from MUN, I’m also an Orange Key tour guide, a Residential College Advisor, and I teach English at a Hispanic cultural center in Trenton. I’m so proud to see how much the team evolved in the past few years. When I first started on the team we were ranked 23rd in the country and didn’t have a consistent practice structure. While there is still a lot of room for improvement, we are already seeing better results, including our landslide victory at Yale last fall and our new Best Delegate ranking as 11th in the country. If you have any questions or would like to know how to join the team, please reach out to me at!

deputy captain: laura hausman

I’m Laura and I am thrilled to be a Deputy Captain of Princeton’s marvelous Model United Nations Team. I was born and reared in Manhattan and attended The Brearley School for thirteen years. I took a gap year to be a staffer on Hillary Clinton’s campaign. I intend to major in the Woodrow Wilson School because I want to get Hillary Clinton (or her hand-picked successor) elected President (yes, we are all trying to convince her to run again). At Princeton, I am Chief Elections Manager for the Undergraduate Student Government and Director of Community Outreach for Whig-Clio’s Governing Council. I also compete on the Princeton Debate Panel, write for the Princeton Undergraduate Law Review and am serving on the Secretariat of Princeton’s legendary Model United Nations Conference. In my spare time, I play the harmonica and pole vault! Please email with any questions.

deputy captain: ben press

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting our new PMUNT website. My name is Ben, and it's my pleasure to be serving as a Deputy Captain this year on the Princeton Model United Nations Team. A little bit about myself: I hail from Vienna, Virginia (famed for having one of the highest per capita spy populations anywhere in the world due to its proximity to D.C.). I am a sophomore in Butler College, and am planning to concentrate in History with a certificate in French Language and Culture. Outside of MUN, I try and keep busy by serving as an Orange Key tour guide, chairing the Butler College Council, and serving as a U-Councilor with the Undergraduate Student Government. I've loved every minute of being a part of this great team, and I hope we can share more information about it with you! If you have any questions, feel free to email me at
